It is my privilege and honor to announce that Stephanie Mattera of Stratford CT USA,has been selected and invited after rigorous rounds of eliminations to represent USA at the Ms United Nations Pageants Talent, Athletics and Academic Competition as Ms North America United Nations 2017.

Hobbies: Philanthropy is my favorite past time. I am especially passionate about donating my time to organizations that help children and animals. I am a Council member for the UnSpoken Smiles Foundation and the Humane Society of the United States, the Spokeswoman for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, and a board member for the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary. I am also very active with my alma mater, NYU. It is a global university and I serve as an Alumni Association board member.

Why do you want to enter? Pageantry provides a platform to raise awareness of important issues. I want to represent the United Nations pageant because it is a global pageant that fosters appreciation of cultures throughout the world, provides a global platform to share my passions and causes, and will be a rewarding experience. I have researched many pageants and this pageant is the best fit for my lifestyle and values.

The week long pageant will be held July 1-9, 2017 in Kingston, Jamaica with the World Finals to be held on July 8, 2017 at Courtleigh Auditorium, 8 St Lucia Avenue, Kingston, Jamaica.
Delegates From across the world will compete in Interview, Sports Wear, Evening Gown & Fashion Wear events for the titles of Miss Teen United Nations, Mr. Teen United Nations, Miss United Nations, Mr. United Nations, Ms. United Nations, and Mrs. United Nations.

Winners will receive thousands of dollars in cash and prizes and will be featured in National promotions. In addition to the competition, delegates will enjoy days of sightseeing, a press conference, photo shoots, parties the annual Queens Banquet, Coronation Ball & Queens Awards Breakfast.
